YouTube announces creative AI tool: Dream Screen 💫

First things first, I want to acknowledge that I did not send out an email last week— and I apologize. I was busy with things in both my professional and personal life. I do not write these posts and schedule them (too far) in advance because I want the latest updates sent out!

Now that that is out of the way, let’s talk about a new update on YouTube 👀.

Coming in 2024, YouTube has a plethora of new creative tools and features that they recently announced— one of those things being AI generated content. “Dream Screen” will allow creators to add AI generated image/video backgrounds into YouTube shorts! Not just that, but creators will ALSO be able to add creative backgrounds and other creative elements based on simple text prompts.

“If you can imagine it, you can create it.” Especially with YouTube’s own version of “CapCut”, which is an editing platform by TikTok.

“YouTube Create” will be free to creators. Yes, you read that correctly. There are many free tools that allow users put together more elaborate videos.

Below is a list of features unique to YouTube create

• The ability to publish directly to YouTube

• Audio captions

• Effects, filters, and transitional tools

• Free music options

• The ability to remove background noise
