Elon Musk: not the sharpest tool in the toolbox

Hello all. We are gathered here today to talk about a new social media update: X (Twitter) will soon cost a monthly fee — an attempt to sort out the bot problem many social media platforms struggle with.

“The single most important reason we’re moving to have a small monthly payment for use of the X system is it’s the only way I can think of to combat vast armies of bots”. Musk shares that adding a subscription will prevent bot accounts because boys do not have a credit card, which is required for membership.

A specific number has yet to be provided, but it’s said that the pricing would be “lower tier pricing” compared to what X premium costs, which is $8.

So, what do we think— will this be received well by avid X, aka Twitter users? Or will the X population decrease and find an alternative (Threads by Instagrams👀).

Personally, I predict that the X audience will eventually decrease as the richest man alive continues to obliterate one of the most legendary social media platforms. 😳
